BOISE, ID - August 23, 2007 - NomadISP, the leading provider of reliable, managed internet access to destination venues including: RV Parks, Marinas, and Resorts has teamed up with MetaGeek — manufacturer of Wi-Spy™, a 2.4 Ghz spectrum analyzer. Together, the two Boise-based tech companies plan to improve the overall quality of NomadISP's existing wireless hotspots at over 280 locations and to ensure the highest quality wireless hotspot solution in the industry moving forward.
The Wi-Spy is used by WiFi Installers like NomadISP to read the different radio waves in the 2.4 GHz spectrum that may interfere with Wi-Fi signals – the signals wireless computer users depend upon for good, clean wireless network connectivity and internet access. Poor signals mean slow or disrupted network connectivity and in a world of high speed bandwidth, web surfers won’t tolerate slow or buggy connections.
"Wi-Spy spectrum analyzers are a natural choice for folks, like NomadISP, who appreciate value," Says MetaGeek founder Ryan Woodings "They're small, powerful, and easy… they're exactly what wireless network installers and administrators need, at a fraction of the cost."
NomadISP’s Chief Operating Officer Cody Harris had this to say; “We’ve spent the last 4 years figuring out how to take wireless internet to destination locations, we’re very excited to now take those hotspots to a whole new level of performance and reliability with the help of partners like MetaGeek.” |
